Coffee Mornings at the Wigborough Community Hub

Who knew that a coffee morning started back in 2018, as an experiment to see if the local community was interested in a regular chance to meet up, would go from strength to strength and still be running very successfully nearly six years later!

As you can see from the photos, the fortnightly event is well attended by a myriad of people – from 2 years to 80+. People appreciate the relaxed and friendly atmosphere; enjoying the

freshly brewed coffee or tea with a variety of

tempting sweet treats.

When the weather permits and knees will allow, there is the opportunity to climb the tower to marvel in the breath taking view. New or occasional visitors are always amazed at the extent of the view - from the University accommodation towers, to Layer Marney, Abberton Reservoir and of course across the Blackwater Estuary.

Children are always welcome. We have a designated play area with a mat and toys plus a beautiful highchair so that little ones feel included.
