A Summer Barbeque at St Stephen’s Community Venue

Amid a week of wind, rain and rather chilly temperatures, the sun and warmth graced our Community BBQ at St Stephen’s.

The new gas bbq performed to perfection, as did the chef!

The delicious burgers and sausages were purchased from the Gladwins at Wigborough Meats. And for those wanting an alternative, there were veggie burgers and veggie sausages on offer too.

The delights of the bbq were enjoyed from a standing position around the bbq, from the various benches around the churchyard or from the comfort of a table and chairs within the Community Hub.

Once everyone had their fill from the bbq, there were a range of tempting desserts and, of course, there was a bar to help digest the excellent fare on offer. All in all – ‘A good time was had by all!’

This could mark the start of an annual event – watch this space for a date…..
