Christmas Cheese & Wine, 12th December 2025

Once again, the Community Hub played host to the village for a Christmas Cheese and Wine event. We welcomed over forty people to an evening of good cheer and good company.

This year also saw us celebrate a 90^th birthday with a toast to Brian and a photo board depicting his long and varied life.

The raffle as always was very popular and those whose ticket was drawn as a winner were hard pressed to make a choice from the many prizes on offer. The conversation was lively and folk circulated around to catch up with neighbours. Sonia co-ordinated the signing of a retirement card for our much-appreciated postman, Jerry – the ideal occasion to catch as many folks as possible.

And all this good cheer was once again helped along by the now legendary mulled wine by Katrina and the background of some well-loved Christmas songs.
