Summer BBQ - 21st June 2025

The bunting cascaded from the roof of the tower, heralding the third summer barbeque for the Community Hub at St Stephen’s. The sun shone brightly all afternoon, but the gazebos and trees provided welcome shade and being at the top of a hill, there was a warm breeze keeping everyone cool.

Tony and Alan did a sterling job again, keeping the guests supplied with a steady flow of Wigborough meats burgers and sausages. This was followed by a medley of soft fruits and Katrina’s own recipe of a Greek yogurt and mascarpone topping.

Looks like the guests are appreciating the chance to meet up in a beautiful setting to enjoy the sunshine, conversation and company of neighbours, a delicious bbq and of course a glass of wine from the licensed bar! Perfect!
